Event Registration Improvements
Here's a look at some of the new features we've rolled out to our Events Module, including multiple registrations per event submission and better use of the attendee tab.
Managing events is stressful enough as it is. Which is exactly why we’ve implemented improvements to the setup and registration area of our events module. See how the changes listed below will make managing your events easier.
Staff members now have the ability to turn on Multiple Registrations in their events. In some scenarios your event may have a bunch of different things to register for. For example, maybe you are hosting a training workshop, golf tournament, and a dinner afterwards. Now, we’ve made it so the same person can register for more than one registration type during a single registration submission.
For any current or previous event, this setting will be turned off. To turn it on go to the Attendee Setup tab, and open up the Overall Registration Options. Enable the checkbox “Allow Multiple Registrations”. For all new events this will be turned on by default.
We’ve implemented a new Purchases tab in your events. With this new tab, you can now see everything related to the purchases that have been made in your event, including invoice total, invoice balance, discounts and more.

With the attendee tab being a key piece to managing your event, we’ve made it easier to see what you need in one screen. Here are some great features that were implemented:
- Easily check-in a guest with a dynamic event status column. Allowing you to check someone in right from the attendee tab. See a video of how this works: https://www.screencast.com/t/tvtbjGpYZuh
- Colored invoice number to give you a quick visual of whether or not an invoice is paid or unpaid. See what this looks like: https://www.screencast.com/t/bErXHlTJgx
- Additional Items are now view-able right from the attendees tab. This added column lets you see the details to each registrants additional items that were purchased. See what this looks like: https://www.screencast.com/t/MUEIN56Ul
You are now able to better manage your event custom fields. We’ve moved the custom fields area to the Attendee Setup tab, right above the registration types section. See a screenshot of what this looks like: https://www.screencast.com/t/jrxSw6amLAO
Another small improvement that you may notice is the ability to add a time to your event registration open and close dates. That means you can now, for example, set registration to opens on Friday August 3rd, at 2:00pm.
