The community platform has a few new improvements with it's latest release!

Discussion & feed post updates

Post text displays above post media

Displaying the post text above the image ensures the message or context is seen first, making it more likely to be read before the user scrolls or gets distracted.

New Post Title option

Posts that lead with a compelling headline or caption can hook attention and encourage users to engage (like, comment, share). The new post title is optional, posts can be created with or without a title.

Improved Community site navigation

When your community members access the platform upon logging in, they will now be automatically routed to your community site home page rather than landing on an empty page. For sites that may not have a dedicated home page, community members will be directed to the first page in your top bar navigation. (For example, redirecting from mycommunity.junolive.com to mycommunity.junolive.com/main/home) 

This will improve your community member experience and keep them engaged and oriented.

Group Resources

Within your group resources area of Community, most files uploaded as resources are now able to be opened in a new browser tab, allowing community members to preview the file instead of automatically downloading.

Clicking anywhere on the resource will prompt it to open in a new tab. The download icon will initiate the download.

File types that can be previewed in most browsers:

• PDF
• JPG
• PNG
• GIF
• MP4

File types that will most likely be downloaded without a preview option:

• DOC
• XLS
• PPT
