New Discussion & Feed User Experience

As previously communicated, the Community platform within the Discussion and Feed modules have an improved user experience! Both at a global level as well as at the group level.

Key highlights:

• New side drawer replacing the popup modals
• Reorganized action buttons
• Improved visualization for the number of followers, posts, comments, replies, likes and tags
• Discussion topic content has been replaced with breadcrumbs when viewing posts
• Large discussions and posts are truncated
• There is no known limit on the number of replies of replies in a thread

User Email Notification Preferences

Similar to the recent updates made to the mobile app's Notification Preferences column, we’ve greyed out certain options with a note indicating that 'email notifications are coming soon.'

The Daily Digest will be the first email notification option, launching soon. We will also review various in-app notifications related to immediate and individual activity to identify additional options that could be offered as email notifications.

GZ AMS Sync Improvements

We've enhanced the GZ AMS group and member synchronization to ensure that only 'Individual' contact records are synced from GZ AMS Lists/Committees to the Community platform, excluding 'Organization' contact records. Previously, syncing 'Organization' contact records resulted in inactive users on the Community platform and prevented individuals' first and last names from syncing alongside email addresses.

Actions that used to require a refresh will now be immediate

• When admins "pin" a discussion, it will no longer require a refresh to reflect the update.
• When manually adding an admin to a group (that is not synced by an AMS), they will now appear right away in the member directory.
